Hello! I'm Marcin Gorski, a sophomore at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Computer Science. Alongside my studies, I work as a Technology Specialist at Computer Concepts USA, where I supported clients using cybersecurity and IT solutions such as Huntress, Acronis, Entra, and Malwarebytes ThreatDown. I'm currently focusing on Frontend development while also exploring Backend programming to broaden my technical skill set.

Constructed a C++ data analysis tool to process City of Chicago traffic violation .txt records. Implemented file stream processing and OOP to categorize data by location and date, successfully identifying seasonal peaks and high-frequency violation zones.
MTA Post Covid Ridership Analysis

Data pipeline to analyze post-COVID MTA ridership trends. Developed custom scripts to parse and clean unsorted CSV datasets, structuring them into Pandas DataFrames for time-series analysis. Aggregated daily, monthly, and yearly metrics across all bus and rail organizations, culminating in a series of Matplotlib visualizations that highlight urban transit recovery patterns.

Implemented Dijsktra's algorithm to find optimal routes between UIC campus buildings. Converted JSON data from OpenStreetMap into custom graph classes to effectively create/update relations between vectices. Utilized GoogleTest unit testing to observe edges cases.
